Competitors will ask you what happens when battery is discontinued. My husband made the mistake of buying the 18v drill and saw combo with Black NI-Mh Battery if you do not keep them charged or use the tool monthly they will cease to function, not a peep, dead as the dodo, I know as that happened to my husband,good luck contacting Makita if over a year they will not help but will sell you some more, Red ones are not much better. I know as my husband has made the mistake of purchasing both,will sell for parts now, Buy a Ridgid Lifetime warranty on Tools and Battery. My Husband called, they will replace the tool with latest comparable model. Nice to see a company that stands behind their product
My old batteries were dieing fast and now my Makita tools have more power than when new.
Received the batteries very fast and both have worked great with no problems. Was a very good price for the twin pack would recommend this dealer to others.
But, That was not the best part. Then I started looking on internet. I had a hard time finding this battery at local retailers. Sears who I know and trust wanted more then twice the money for this item. I was very pleased to find it at amazon. I know and trust them. The batteries work Great. and I saved a lot of money.
